Beyond Booking
BeyondBooking founded by Vladislav Overchuk is on the music market of Berlin since 2016. Their mission is to discover the Russian artists for the European public, connect them with the artists of Berlin and bring them on the next level of performing.
Thereby the focus is set on the experimental and innovative artists, who are underrepresented in the actual European art environment.
For this long-term project, I create the art direction and graphic design for BeyondBooking through print and social media campaign. The style is inspired by Swiss graphic design grid system with a dark minimal touch.
The identity highlights the energy of the bands playing live with an high contrast grainy black & white pictures and strong visual typography.
ZEUG is a post-rock/drone band from Berlin signed by BeyondBooking.
The band approached me to redesign the logo as well as their upcoming tape and album cover design for the released of their demo LOW.
The result of the logo is a kinetic typography mixed with a used texture that represents their music. The texture was photographed on a rusty squat door in Berlin.
Reinterpreted digitally with high black & white contrast, this textural picture is a metaphor of the band nightmarish soundscape.
